While we are known as the LaRaviere family, we believe we are also called to be missionaries of the Gospel of Christ. We certainly believe we are now experiencing the blessings of a decision made on a rainy night many years ago.

Our Family

Dad:

Matthew Alan LaRaviere, the son of Richard & Reva LaRaviere. Matthew is an ordained evangelist and is actively apart of the Haven of Rest Bible Church in Galax Virginia. In addition to being a husband to his wife for 35 years, he is a dad of 6 children, a Grandfather of 7 blessings, an "aspiring author" and an Auctioneer by trade. Matthew co-pastored a small downtown mission church for 8 years before merging with Haven of Rest Bible Church in Galax, Virginia.

Mom:

Becky (Rebecca) LaRaviere, daughter of Enos & Emma Stoltzfus. Becky, in addition to being a good wife, and a mother of 6, she is the "Grandmother of 7 beautiful grandchildren most of which, want to sit with her in church every Sunday.

Oldest Son:

Stephen LaRaviere, married to Samantha (Beachy). They have 3 daughters. Stephen is an Auctioneer and Manager of the family Auction business. Samantha is a stay at home mom. They attend and take part at Haven of Rest Bible Church in Galax, Virginia.

 

Oldest Daughter:

Rebecca Weaver, married to Derek. They have 1 daughter, and 2 sons. Rebecca is a stay at home mom but also operates a vacation cabin rental business. Derek works in the family store business as a General Manager. They attend and take part at Haven of Rest Bible Church in Galax, Virginia.

Twin Daughters:

Lalona Beachy, married to Cody, has a store much like her dad's in Cochranton, Pennsylvania.

Luana Pollard, married to Isaiah, has 1 son. Luana works in the internet side of the family business, and Isaiah works as an IT Techician with Bank of America.

5th Child:

James works full time as an IT Technician, and part time in the family Auction business. He loves to spend time with friends, and enjoys fixing up cars. James still resides at home.

​

6th Child:

Daniel LaRaviere, recently married to Natalie Hoch. Daniel works in the family business, and most recently become an auctioneer like is grandfather, dad, and older brother. He also loves to forge on the side, raise horses. Daniel and Natalie, attend Haven of Rest Bible Church.
